NEST is an established school, nursery and day care, situated in a large detached property near to Montego Bay, St. James. The premises have been adapted to meet the needs of children aged 0 to 12 years, with bright, welcoming and attractive surroundings.

 

We believe in providing the highest standard of education and care. Our staff are highly trained, and all our room leaders are qualified Care Givers and/or Early Years & Primary Teachers

Children learn through play to construct meaning of the world around them. The quality of the resources, provisions and organisation of the environment is important in meeting children’s needs and in developing their interests and skills.

Adults need to recognise children’s abilities and support them to realise their full potential, build positive relationships and create a sense of belonging and worth.

We aim to educate, build confidence and promote independence. We aim to develop children emotionally, physically, socially and intellectually through the provision of a wide range of opportunities and experiences in a supportive environment.


We provide high quality care in a safe and stimulating environment, where children can learn through play and first-hand experiences arising from their individual needs. We not only aim to develop the minds of our children, but also their character; which will ensure that they are confident and able to make positive contributions to our society and the wider world.


We value the uniqueness of each child and therefore actively support and encourage individual children to access a broad range of challenges and experiences in line with their abilities.
